Section outline

    • DESCRIPTION:
Let’s get started with evaluation. In this module, you will select a program to use as a practice case study throughout the entire course. Then you will reflect on who your program serves and learn about evaluation partners as we begin to explore culturally relevant and equitable evaluation (CREE) and introduce foundational evaluation concepts.

      OBJECTIVES:
After completing this module, you should be able to:
      • Articulate a program’s activities, goals, and audience.
      • Identify who could be on your evaluation team.
      • Build a list of internal and external partners who might care about your evaluation results.

      BENCHMARK ASSESSMENTS:

    • 1.1 Getting Started

These activities help set the stage for the course. You’ll make copies of templates that you’ll use throughout the course, choose a focus program to work with, and start some concept mapping.

    • 1.2 Culturally Responsive and Equitable Evaluation

The next set of activities and resources introduces values and culturally responsive and equitable evaluation (CREE), then prompts you to analyze your potential partners for evaluation.
