Grounding Evaluation in Values
Completion requirements
One of our goals in this course is to get people to think differently and more broadly about evaluation. The eeVAL project, in partnership with the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE), applies culturally responsive and equitable evaluation to EE contexts. It is guided by the values of equity in motion, authentic engagement, deep curiosity, critical reflection, high quality, and collective impact.
TASK 6: Read and explore “The Values” from eeVAL. We will be embracing these values throughout this entire course and referencing them from time to time.eeVAL “offers a culturally responsive, equitable evaluation (CREE) framework, program models, and resources for individuals, organizations, and networks to create more just, inclusive, and healthy partnerships, programs, and communities.” (NAAEE)
