READ the Essential Principle 3: Causes section of the Climate Literacy Essential Principles (2024) framework (pg. 15-17)
TASK 8: Explore the following resources and respond:
- The Causes of Climate Change: NASA (or view this PDF)
- Engage with the World Emissions Clock; 1) Scroll to the ‘Compare Countries’ section and compare the major economic drivers and leaders of the world. 2) Explore the ‘Sectors Emissions’ and compare countries
WRITE a response to these questions (less than 300 words): What did you notice from the resources you explore in this module? What are you now thinking about? What does it make you wonder about? How will your understanding of causes of climate change support your communications, outreach, and instruction practice?
