Section outline

    • DESCRIPTION:
You made your plan, collected your data and analyzed your findings. Now what? Remember, evaluation is all about learning, so you need to share your results in ways that matter to your partners and make plans to implement changes based on your findings. This final module will also encourage you to reflect on how your thinking about evaluation may have changed throughout this course and encourage you to make plans for future learning.

      OBJECTIVES:
After completing this module, you should be able to:
      • Share results from your evaluation in responsive ways to relevant audiences.
      • Share results from your evaluation in creative ways that go beyond a final report.
      • Identify audiences to share your evaluation results with, going beyond just funders.
      • Identify ways to review evaluation results and use evaluation results to inform programming.

      BENCHMARK ASSESSMENTS:

    • 5.1 Sharing Your Results

Congratulations, you have gathered and analyzed data for your program evaluation. No need to keep this information just to yourself-–you should share it. This section of Module 5 will focus on how to share your results with your team, funders, participants, and any other relevant groups who should learn about or from your program.

    • 5.2 Putting What You've Learned Into Action

Sharing your evaluation results with funders and other relevant parties is important, but it is just as important to USE your evaluation results to inform programming decisions. This section of Module 5 will provide ideas for ways to do that.

    • 5.3 Course Reflection

Now it is time to evaluate this course. The goal of this section of Module 5 is for you to consider what you have learned, reflect on your experiences, and identify some clear next steps so learning is encouraged beyond this course. Our goal, in alignment with the eeVAL resource mentioned before, is to create a larger culture of evaluation in the environmental education field. Therefore, we highly encourage sharing what you have learned.
