Nature-Based Interventions in Learning
Nature-Based Interventions in Learning
Nature-based interventions like outdoor learning and environmental education positively impact student learning outcomes by engaging them in hands-on experiences in natural settings. As we’ve learned throughout the course so far, these interventions can enhance memory retention, cognitive processing, and overall well-being through multisensory learning and physical activity. In this section, we’ll learn more about how incorporating nature into education settings has an overwhelmingly positive benefit on student learning and development.
TASK: Exposure to nature through environmental education programs and outdoor learning can improve learning and academic outcomes in students across all subjects.
